Well yeah we've all seen some weird stuff here. I've even heard something about a God or something like that, but not sure you'd have to ask someone else about it.
But I thought curses could only be put on people? Like hexes?

You can curse objects too, I think. Put bad luck on them or make them cause misfortune. I've heard about stuff like that from other pirates.
Pretty sure the downside of Devil Fruits count as a curse, right? [Unless Luffy enjoys the constant threat of death by seawater that plagues their lives.]
I don't know, it's things I hear at the docks. They like to talk there but they don't explain a lot of things.
People bring their own misfortune I think. And I guess devil fruits count but then it doesn't really do anything until a person is involved. The fruit isn't cursed the person is?
